At Vision Global, our mission is rooted in the belief that sustainable development must be inclusive, community-led, and anchored in dignity and justice. Our programs are designed to address the complex challenges faced by marginalized communities, particularly in Northeast India.

We focus on six core areas that together form a comprehensive approach to transformation—from education and equality to environment and peace.

Capacity Building & Leadership Training

We organize comprehensive capacity-building workshops for Village Authorities, Village Development Committees (VDCs), youth groups, women self-help groups (SHGs), churches, and other grassroots organizations. Our programs focus on:

  • Community leadership development

  • Thematic training sessions on governance, planning, and rights awareness

Women and Children Upliftment Program

Empowering women and protecting children are at the heart of our mission.

  • Initiatives promoting gender equity and women's leadership

  • Awareness on child rights and protection under POCSO

  • Counseling centers for destitute women and survivors of exploitation

  • Campaigns on sex education, abuse prevention, and anti-trafficking

Education Program

We strive to break the cycle of poverty through access to quality education.

  • Awareness campaigns on national/state education policies

Health & Wellness

Vision Global promotes accessible healthcare and community well-being through:

  • HIV/AIDS harm reduction and awareness programs

  • Maternal, child, and adolescent health initiatives

  • Rural health clinics and health education drives

Livelihood Development

We enable self-sufficiency through sustainable livelihoods:

  • Training and support in livestock, agriculture, and horticulture

  • Promotion of modern, efficient farming and non-farming technologies

Eco-Tourism & Cultural Heritage

We foster eco-conscious rural tourism and cultural preservation by:

  • Developing eco-friendly tourism centers in rural areas

  • Reviving traditional arts, crafts, and heritage through cultural centers

Youth Development

Youth are our future, and we invest in their potential through:

  • Games and sports meets focused on health, discipline, and drug prevention

  • Youth counseling and engagement in community development activities

Skill-Based Training

We conduct vocational training for unemployed youth and adults to promote economic independence. Training areas include:

  • Wood carving, electronics, tailoring

  • Bamboo craft, handloom, and traditional handicrafts

  • Carpentry and other technical trades

Natural Resource Management

Environmental protection is integral to our development strategy. We implement:

  • Afforestation, soil conservation, and spring-shed development

  • Eco-Payment Services (PES) awareness for sustainability

  • Biodiversity conservation and climate change mitigation initiatives

Drug De-Addiction Program

We are addressing substance abuse through:

  • Establishment of drug de-addiction centers

  • Community outreach and awareness programs on the dangers of addiction

Orphan and Homeless Support

Every child and individual deserves safety and dignity. We support:

  • Destitute homes for orphans and the homeless

  • Rehabilitation and reintegration support
